Acceptance

By installing or using FishMemo (the “App”), you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

• Record fishing logs, spots, species, and related notes.
• View weather and tide information obtained from third‑party providers.
• Some settings may allow manual tide station selection; such preferences are stored locally.
• You must comply with local laws and regulations when using the App.

Accounts & Purchases

• Some features require a Pro subscription. Purchases and restorations are handled by Apple.
• If configured, entitlements may be fulfilled via RevenueCat; purchases are still processed through Apple.
• The App does not operate external accounts beyond Apple’s purchase system.

Content & Ownership

• You own the data you create (logs, spots, photo metadata, notes).
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you input.

Data Storage & Sync

• Data is stored on‑device; optional iCloud sync may be enabled.
• You can export and import backups locally. The App does not run its own servers.

Third‑Party Services

• Maps: Apple Maps.
• Tide/Weather providers (depending on your location and configuration), including but not limited to: NOAA Tides & Currents (United States); Government of Canada IWLS; Queensland DES storm‑tide datasets (Australia); SGTideTimings open dataset (Singapore); Stormglass and WorldTides.
• Purchases and entitlements: Apple App Store, optionally RevenueCat.
• Use of these services is subject to their respective policies.

Network & Location Usage

• To request tide/weather data, the App may send approximate coordinates, time zone, unit preferences, and your IP address to third‑party providers.
• Location access is optional and can be disabled in system Settings; some features may be limited without it.

Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”. Weather and tide forecasts may be inaccurate or delayed. Do not rely on the App for safety‑critical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
